[Blue Devil Games] Poisoncraft Sale - 3 DAYS LEFT!

Just a reminder that there are only three days left on the sale of Poisoncraft: The Dark Art.

Poisoncraft is available here at RPGNow.com.

Still waffling?

Check out these stellar reviews:

Silven Crossroads - "The best d20 poison book on the market."

Gaming Report - "If this sourcebook is any example, then Blue Devil Games will be one of those 3rd party publishers using the d20 license that you'll go back to again and again."

3rd Edition.Org - "If you think poison has 'been done' you haven't looked through this book."

This book is a pretty amazing deal in any format (PoD or PDF). The PDF in particular is worth well more than the sale price of $5 -- it's gorgeous.

Just wanted to let everyone know, the $5 sale is officially over.

But, for some reason, the price for Poisoncraft is now set at $6.66.

What can I say, the devil made me do it. [searches for bad-pun smilie]

Six and two-thirds dollars is still cheap for this PDF. I wrote the review of it for Silven Crossroads. It's very close to being on par with Malhavoc PDFs and one could argue that it is nicer in some respects with more slightly more readable text and color accents. Eventhough my quote is "best d20 poison book on the market," there are some kick arse monsters and spells in it as well, not to mention some ungodly artwork by Kev Crossley.

Also, I should mention that I interviewed Justin Jacobson for Silven Crossroads and will have that interview up in the coming weeks.

This book is pretty sharp. Good production values, easy to read, conversion notes for AU.

Will there be a team up with a print publisher to bring it to all game stores, or just the POD version?

Thanks for the compliments. I have been told by one print publisher that they feel it is too narrow for a wide distribution product. However, I am alwasy willing to listen.

That is too bad. Part of a product is in it's layout, writing style and art. This product tops Bastion's book in a few of those areas and is a little easier to use in some aspects due to the wide variety of material (monsters, PrCs, magic items).

I'd almost say this would be right up Green Ronin's alley as they do some material by the Game Mechanics, which often have solid rules but really need to do something about the art in their d20 modern products.

Well, if anyone from Green Ronin is listening, my "door" is always open: jdj[at]floridacollections[dot]com

(In point of fact, that was one of the publishers I contacted.)
