MEG Hal

Yup, in order to keep up with demand for Bluffside, Bluffside: City on the Edge will be carried by Waldenbooks, if you do not see a copy you can order one since they will have them in stock you should get your order ASAP!!!!

One more way to make sure everyone can enjoy Thunderhead Games products easier.

So pre-order the book or ask when they should be arriving to your local store, more bookstores hopefully following soon!!!

Hal, you must have thought of me since I'm card carrying member of Waldenbooks Preferred Reader thingie. ;) Well off I go to order it! ;)

Congrats TG! This is a boon for the small rpg publisher community. We were picked up as well starting with our Worldbook.

There is also a PO on the way from Borders for both MEG and TG coming along.

Cool Borders also :D.
Your world book is great Doug it deserves to be sold at bookstores!!!!

Congrats to you also.

Erm... What's Waldenbooks? I'm european, so i'm not familiar with it. Is it a big bookstore chain? Home many shops/locations? Will every bookstore have it in stock? Kinda curious how good you folks are doing ;-)

Not sure Waldenbooks extends beyond the borders of the good 'ol USA (perhaps into Candada, again, not sure). I do know that they primarily live in shopping malls with the occasional stand alone. Just a side note, Waldenbooks and Borders are the same company, and B.Dalton and Barnes & Noble are the same company.

I think you mean that Waldenbooks was bought by Borders and so now under the same corporate ownership and the same thing with BDalton and B&N.

Walden books is a fairly big US Chain that, yes, resides in shopping malls. For me it was the only source I had for purchasing gaming books until college when I saw my first actual RPG shop.

Yes, Waldenbooks is a big bookstore chain, though compared to stores like Books-a-Million or Barnes and Noble. This is very good news, I think. When will the books be hitting the shelves? Maybe I can pick up a copy of Harry Potter 5 at the same time I get a d20 book. :)

what would it take to get a secured line into B&N or books-a-million? What would the publishers or printers have to do to get into those big chains?

as for my copy from THG, I plan on driving up to brandon and getting Hal to personally sign my copy. Let them try to pry that out of my cold dead hands when I get his autograph on it!
