Bluffside in the Scarred Lands

Ok,

...I'm thinking about setting my Bluffside Campaign in the Scarred Lands, obviously in Ghelspad, but I don't know exactly where it would fit in the best.

I'm thinking Darakeene, up near the Devouring Reef and Titanshome - so as to keep a nice threat close to it, or two, as well as a geographically interesting region that the Bluffside mythos would fit into.

Anyhow, any thoughts or ideas?

I don't have SL but I own a lot of SSS's books and like 'em. Nightfall should appear and lay down his "official EN SL specialist" opinion on this soon, I would love to have a "good spot" to put it so when people ask I can tell them.

We currently have official places in: The Hunt: Rise of Evil form Mystic Eye Games
Working on settings for:
Troll Lord Games' Erde-almost there
Fiery Dragon Press- they have a lot of stuff going on but we are working on it.

Any other publisher interested, drop me a line.....but I am watching this thread....the eye is watching

Yeah, I've been debating on where to put Freeport on the SL map. I'd be interested to see what others say.

Alright well the Devouring Reef CERTAINLY is an option. Another is of course along the Blossoming sea, towards Southern Ghelspad.
Or you could put it along the eastern cost of Ghelspad, since Mithril and Hedrad are common enough ports of call. Personally I'd stick with your original idea mainly BECAUSE it gives Interludes a good reason to have Winter as opposed to the south where it's usually much warmer.


As for Freeport, well you have your choice of the Blood Sea (not exactly conducive to travel but hey they DO make runs across it!) or just past the Drifting Isle. I'd personally choose either that OR settling it along the Toe Isles. (Plenty of piracy there! )

You're always watching Hal! But seriously what I like about Bluffside is that it can fit ANYWHERE in the Scarred Lands, but I do think the original poster has the best idea so far. That's at least for Bluffside.
