Something that many of us who play already knew, but the rest of the world is just discovering. RPGs helped me keep my head screwed on straight through bullying and my parents' divorce, back in high school, in the late '70s/early '80s. A friend out west even founded a group that uses RPGs and music in therapeutic ways.
