[QUOTE="Phanboy, post: 3730508, member: 691"] Okay, So my buddy is coming in for a few weeks, and in the past when he lived locally, and free time flowed like wine, we both enjoyed RPG's as well as wargames, Mageknight, Battletech, and DDM in particular. In general as free time decreases, my need for greenbacks increases proportionally and any gaming supplies end up as an offering to the gods of barter on ebay. In other words, I dont have any adequate supplies to get any kind of game on while he is in. I've been looking for a nice, neat all-inclusive game and the lower the price, and easier the rules, the better. I figure something along the lines of Heroquest would be perfect, to my knowledge it has been a while since Heroquest was readilly available though. I have seen Descent, it looks really nice, if a bit more expensive than I would like, Also a bit on the large side, not to mention a bit intense looking set-up wise. The Doom game from FFG also looks nice, As does the Zombies game, but I would almost prefer a more traditional fantasy setting though not absolutely neccesary. Talisman looks freaking sweet, but way too pricey. I'm now looking at a cool little game called Dungeon Twister. I guess the big question here is, has anyone played this, or any of the other games mentioned? Any games not listed I should look for? For the sake of of people making suggestions, I have maybe around $60 to spend, Which would be enough for the basic Dungeon Twister set as well as the 3-4 player expansion, incase another old timer decides to join us. Thanks for any help! Might as well throw some links up for interested parties as well.
