BoED and Sacrifices

This is more of an observation than a question.

There are 4 types of sacrifices for sanctified spells:

Ability Damage
Ability Drain
Level Loss
Death

Ability damage, ability drain and death are all curable.

Level loss is not as it is not a level drain. No restoration for you!!

Agree or not?

Also, be sure to read the notes in each Sacrifice, some of the sacrifice components have special rules (Phoenix Fire for instance forces a level loss from the Death component).

Well, sure, that's a special case because you die AND come back.

If it says level "loss" I am afraid you can just get it back with new Xp.

But of course also death comes with a price, either the loss of a level or the 25000gp cost to cast True Resurrection. I wouldn't overlook that! :)

Level loss can certainly be regained with XP - I hope I did not imply otherwise.

Also, all sanctified spells have a cost- even if immediately healed, it still costs in some fashion or other to get the healing - even if just the cost of having to use another spell for the day.

My point was that only the level loss cannot be treated magically somehow.
