Daniel Horne, an artist well known to many fantasy readers, was nice enough to send me a jpg of the final cover for the Book of Familiars. This canvas went beyond any of our expectations. He's done a wonderful job. We Trolls bow in respect and wonder!

Yes, this version is much better. I wasn't keen on the horns that the earlier one had (I think a bad copy of the earlier one is still on our homepage for those who want to compare, just scroll down). The helm and breast plate are far better.

That has been our philosphy from day one...let the artist do the art. And this is generally the result. HUZAH for the creative mind.

just a quickie...
When do you expect this to be released? I think it is definitely a niche that has not been covered enough yet. Also will the release date represent distribution to the uk?

This puppy is in the editing stage. We've to wrap up on the Winter Runes Companion Book and then we'll latch onto BoF until it is off to the presses. We expect it to go to print by late Feb. and be available in March.

As it comes together we'll start posting more material for you to preview and what nots.
