Book of Names going fast _TLG

First Post
Arguably to be one the most used gaming aids ever, The Book of Names is flying off the shelves and we are rapidly depleting our stock.

With over 100,000 names in the book, you will never ever be confounded or lost when developing names for a campaign again.

Broken down chronologically and ethnically, the Book of Names offers historical names that stretch back thousands of years. Then there are the fantasy names and name creation tables to add great flavor and consistency to any game. No more "John the Slayer" or "Bob the Magician,"but rather "Glaedir the Infernal" and "Esmerashard the Cursed"

pre-order from our rapidly depleting stocks before this book becomes as rare as the World Builder's guide.

Also available from Troll Lord Games in the Gygaxian Fantasy Series are Living Fantasy (reviews - http://www.d20zines.com/html/module...order=0&thold=0 ), the best guide in publication to creating a medieval/fantasy setting. This product is also rapidly sliding from our shelves and becoming difficult to locate so please order now.

When will the reprint of hte World Builder's Guide be available?

Dang, well Steve keeps working on it. But, we have some things to resolve. For example, when we got the original mauscript it was much larger than it is so we cut some stuff out. That was very difficult. Now we are thinking of putting it back in. Also, quite a bitmore material has been offered toflesh it out even more.

Weare nearly sold out of Canting Crewand Living Fantasy. Book of Names will very quickly disappear. Then, we will be putting out the Insidiae in about 2-4 months ifnot sooner and another in the late fall.

I want acomplete revision of the Canting Crew, a fleshed out world builders, a other stuff. Personally, I want a complete re-release of the line in early/late fall to coincide with the fall release. This gives us a clean six books.

However, there is such a high demand for worldbuilder right now, that we nee it out sooner.

so, that's the quandry.

what to do?

Duplicate post

I posted this in the Living Fantasy thread, but thought I should put it here as well. If you've read it before, please ignore!

Unbeknownst to Davis (as he replied to this post in another thread) the reprint of World Builder is under way. The material that Davis is talking about is being contemplated for a World Builder II. If your interested in the particulars, read on, if not skip to the last paragraph. lol

The delay is caused not by this extra material but the printing of the book itself. We had it scheduled for a limited print run, but after my announcement in January we had several distributors holler at us wanting to put in orders, which made us reverse our stance and order a larger printing. As we are trying to keep the series with a similar look we need to use the same printer. That printer was working on Book of Names and then Encounters. World Builder, once at the head of the line, got bumped.

Which is all well and good as Dan Cross wanted to do some corrections any way. So the World Builder is being sent over to Dan Cross for a few final comments (he's correcting the gold standard that we mis-typed, and cleaning up some of the reference notes).

It should be at the printer around teh first week of April.

I hope that helps and thanks for listening! ;) And thanks all for the kind comments on Living Fantasy. This is perhaps Gygax's best work.

Steve

Personally, I'm not surprised - Book of Names is one of the must useful, informative, and entertaining books I've picked up.

Can't wait to see the Worldbuilder's reprint.

Any chance you'll release a small paperback book of Cant?
