Books on Magical Places? Suggestions Please.

Ulric

First Post
I was reading through Magic Item Compendium today and I was thinking, "Gosh, these are some cool magic items, now I just need a list or book of cool places where players can find them."

So, are there any good books that are about magic locations? Cool spots or places that a DM can plug into his or her campaigns?

Thanks.

Atlas put out two books Sacred Grounds and Sacred Grounds 2. In each book they showcase a few places of religious significance that can easily be turned into more magical places.

GURPs has a great book called Places of Mystery that while more real world based could easily be adapted to what you want.

Dog Soul has a line of PDfs called Strange places. They are a creative and again could be adapted to what you are looking for.

DMG2 has magical places in it that serve a different purpose but again adaptable.

I'm not sure of the name of the actual books, but I want to call them Mythic Places. From White Wolf, I believe, for the Ars Magica game. Each book has a country or location, and lists the places of power for that area. It has been many years since I've seen them, but check out the White Wolf site and ask around. Also, I believe that it was WotC who originally had the game, so you might check there, also. I may have the proprietorship order backward, but I know that both companies had the game at some point.
All else failing, Google "Ars Magica".

One of Monte Cook's Books of Eldritch Might is chockablock with magical locations. They're also reprinted in the Complete Book of Eldritch Might, which I have.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest after I read the opening post.
