Boots of Striding and Springing

Human + Full Plate Armor + Boots of Striding and Springing = Speed 30, it is okay?

Priced at 5,500, it's a cheap way to get rid of the main disadvantage of a heavy armor.

Yes, that's fine. Of course, you're still stuck with the Armor Check Penalty which may be a disadvantage for some. Then again, with lighter armor you'd be at 40 ft. speed. I can think of a lot of other things worth 5500 gp that might replace those boots, so it's certainly not a must have, but useful for heavy armored fighters wanting to move a little quicker.

Eventually, for my Barbarian/Cleric, I hope for Bbn Fast Movement (+10'), Divine Vigor (+10'), Boots of Striding and Springing (+10'), and Mithril Breastplate (-0') for 60' movement on a buffed out melee cleric build.

I'm a huge fan of speed. Monks in Boots are great, as well.

Isn't divine vigor an enhancement bonus? They wouldn't stack, I don't think.

Monks in boots are great, maybe, but Monks in boots of striding and springing gain no benefit to their speed.

...
Y'know, I just went to check the SRD, and darn if it doesn't call a monk's fast movement an Enhancement bonus.

Which a Barbarian's fast movement is unnamed.

Yet both are called: Fast Movement (Ex).

Guess that's one of them-there house rules, on my end, since I don't feel like changing stuff up now.
