Boston 3.5/3.0 Book Blowout

Zephrin the Lost

First Post
Forgive me if this has already been posted.

Building #19, a chain of retail clearance shops here in the Boston area has come into a seemingly endless supply of 3.5/3.o books in perfect condition, and is selling them for 8 or 9 bucks.

Titles include:
Sandstorm
Frostburn
Leather-bound DM"s giude (at $25 bucks)
The D&D basic set (at $5)
The Abberation book
Stormwrack
Ebberon player's guide
Several Ebberon and non-Ebberon modules
Tons of D20 modern stuff, including the Urban Arcana setting hardcover.
Piles of the 30 Years of D&D tabletop book ($5 in softback!)
Heroes of Horror
All of the races books
Most of the Faerun books and settings
Draconomicon
and so on.

Store locator on thier website. http://www.building19.com/

I have high hopes for 4e so only spent like $30. If this was 2006, I would have dropped over a hundred and I already have a ton of books, so the selection is pretty huge.

If there were to be a firesale on at my FLGS, I think I would be looking to buying XPH, PHBII, DMGII, Stormwrack and Sandstorm, possibly Cityscape and Dungeonscape. I would consider those fairly essential to complete my 3e/v3.5 set. A lot of it would probably be cannibalized and used by me for 4e, at least the fluffier bits and stuff not addressed by 4e Core.

I went to the Building 19 on the Lynnway and they didn't have any. What a bummer. :( So make sure the place you're going actually has 'em! Zeph, which one did you go to?

I wonder if WotC is dumping books to certain stores. At a gaming store in Australia I picked up a few bargains:

Heroes of Horror - AUD$11 (approx USD$9.50)
Heroes of Battle - AUD$11 (approx USD$9.50)
Stormwrack - AUD$11 (approx USD$9.50)
Powers of Faerun - AUD$11 (approx USD$9.50)
Champions of Ruin - AUD$11 (approx USD$9.50)
Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk - AUD$20 (approx USD$17)

I was pretty happy with those prices. Powers of Faerun and Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk were on my to get list. The others I got because I thought that they were worth it at that price, even if I only use them a little.

Wow- sorry! The Weymouth Store and Hanover location both had them, so I thought it was all locations. Sorry!

The WotC website states that they were having a sell out and Milsims has been getting everything that has been put on sale so far - GRR and now WotC. Will be interesting to see if they do the Bastion one as well.

I checked the Burlington store earlier today and did not see any. Can someone confirm whether the Somerville store has them?

Edit: Ah, apparently the Somerville store no longer exists?
