Nice! Question: How does it have a +9 to damage?

Oops! Good catch. I think I gave it Strength and 1/2 for its slam attack, in error. I have corrected the original post.

How is that an error? I thought that you were supposed to use 1.5x str if it only had one attack.

Yes, you should. See the ankheg (MM page 18) and shield guardian (MM page 163) for two quick examples.

Thanks, guys. I've re-corrected (un-corrected?) the damage. I guess that's why I gave it the +9 in the first place, but it had been awhile since I'd done the conversion so I had no idea what I had done.
