Brainstorming a campaign/adventure path.

I perhaps have been watching to many shows about haunted houses and reading too many horror stories recently. I am going to write a adventure path that is based on a small island near a frontier region of a setting. The party will be brought into the situation by playing escort and elite soldiers to a young noble. There would be several villages and one major city on the island. I have been thinking about putting the whole place in the midst of a time bubble. Once on the island and established perhaps after the first adventure the time warp starts to appear. Each era of the island's history has a tragedy. The party and the noble will need to right the wrongs of the past to ensure the future of the island.


I was considering having a player handout of letters from a fellow time traveler. They would be able to communicate with the traveler by leaving papers in a certain place. A drop spot of sorts. The party should be able to return to thier own time by some means as well.

The ghosts and restless dead of the present provide clues through interaction to what happened in days gone by.
