Bralani: Wind Form vs. Whirlwind

Hey folks,

The Bralani have a Wind Form (Su) special ability that is not the same as the Whirlwind (Su) found in the Glossary. They are, however, very similar and I'm wondering if giving the Bralani the latter (only while in its wind form) would be a big enough boost to constitute a change in CR.

Well, if you mean substituting Whirlwind for Wind Form, you're trading off essentially grab vs no limit to the number of rounds. Just adding the grabby bit of Whirlwind is a bit of a boost, but probably not quite enough to justify CR 7. If you're worried about it, you could always drop the Whirlwind Blast attack to compensate.

Well, Wind form has higher fly speed (100 perfect) than a normal Whirlwind (base speed).
I guess +1 CR at most.
