What kind of bonus is this considered?

Someone said that in the Arms and Equipment Guide they touch on this and say you can Bracers of Armor.

So can I stack this? Anyone know where in the Arms and Equipment Guide this is written?

They are based off of the Mage Armor spell and can go up to +8. Look on the d20 SRD or in your PHB for the item.

pg 130 in the arms and equipment guide I finally found where it says I can enchant them. They suggested doing full fortification.

I come on here for a better understanding of the rules from more experienced people.

This is what pops out to me which is what is written on page 130 of AEG.

"Any special ability that can be added to armor can be added to bracers of armor"

Before that it shows how they can increase the effective bonus as high as +13.

Arms and Equipment Guide is a 3.0 book

It allows bracers of armor to "somehow" go beyond the +8 bonus with something called "heavy fortification" (???)... up to +13...

I don't know of such a thing in 3.5...

Bracers of Armor should be considered a kind of Armor with an AC bonus of 0, no dex check penalty, no maximum dexterity modifier, and no arcane spell failure. Enchanted Bracers have an enhancement bonus to armor, and special abilities that increase the effective bonus can be added as normal for magic armor.

Does that make sense?
