Brash Strike + Ornament of Alertness = Woot!

I discovered a fun combo in tonight's game:
1) The fighter at-will Brash Strike causes you to grant combat advantage to your target, and
2) the neck slot Ornament of Alertness has a daily that negates the CA attack bonus until the end of the encounter.

I thought it was pretty slick, as evidenced by the DM's annoyance.

Yes. That is a good item and synergies well with Brash Strike. But beware. As written, it only negates attack bonus granted by CA. If a monster has some ability relate to CA, say, inflicting extra damage when they have CA, it still works.

I was pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the item's daily power. I had originally taken the ornament because the bonus to perception worked well with my dragonmark of detection. It turns out the daily power was a sweet free gift with purchase!
