I used to moderate a vBulletin forum and I could never remember the proper format for those tags. It is burried deep in the vBulletin FAQ, but I could never be bothered to surf around. I think most people are also to lazy and most links will always be URLs.

But here are the thread and post instructions in case anyone wants to try to memorise them.
