It's designed pretty well, IMHO. In D&D terms, I guess it would be one of those odd one-handed double weapons. The stake part is essential, given her line of work, so it just doesn't work on a sword, but for a hand axe, it's fine. Calling it a scythe is certainly taking some liberties, but I'm fine with that, too. Yes, traditionally, a scythe is a farming tool, but it's also associated with the Grim Reaper. Slayer + scythe = makes sense to me (even if it's not really a scythe at all).</blockquote>
