Dawn is the key.&nbsp; Yes.&nbsp; But she is human and the gate she opened is gone now.&nbsp; So she doesnt open much of anything.And it isnt bad writing.&nbsp; She has ALWAYS been into magick.&nbsp; She wanted Tara and Willow to teach her but her mom had a cow (The Real Me) and she cast a spell all by herself when Joyce came knocking (Conversations with Dead People and Forever).&nbsp; Dawn has been on research squad for a while and doing independant things.I just wish everyone would cut some slack.&nbsp; Everyone is griping about how this sucks and it hasnt been the same.&nbsp; Well ya know what.&nbsp; Bite it or dont watch.&nbsp; You keep coming back every week.&nbsp; if it hasnt been the same in so many years, what make syou think this one episode will make it better.Sure there is some stuff i dont agree with but Buffy is the one show almost everyone i know (and then some) tunes in to watch every week.&nbsp; And every thursday, we get together and talk about how Joss has done it again.Every season has a theme.&nbsp; Havent you got that yet?&nbsp; And have you not got this seasons theme?&nbsp; Despair.Willow cant do much.&nbsp; Why?&nbsp; Shes afraid she will become a killer again (Killer in Me).&nbsp; Xander cant do much anyway.&nbsp; &quot;Do you know what its like to have friends in the spotlight and not be there?&nbsp; Ive lived so close to the spotlight for 7 years.&nbsp; We heal, Dawn.&nbsp; We're there when they need us.&quot;&nbsp; Xander isnt superhuman and Caleb has tried to take him out.&nbsp; Im sure we will see why soon.Giles is acting very Giles.&nbsp; Hes just tired as is everyone else.&nbsp; Buffy said it Tuesday.&nbsp; Shes tired.&nbsp; They all are.&nbsp; Sure there have been 'apocalypses' before (The end of the world.&nbsp; Again?) but this time its serious.&nbsp; I mean when was the last time we saw Sunnydale become a ghost town.&nbsp; Never.</blockquote>
