Message: <blockquote data-quote="Crothian" data-source="post: 903309" data-attributes="member: 232">Well, since Buffy has come to an end with the whole First Evil thought it occured to me that we had seen this all before in Highlander.  At the end of season 5 Duncan faced of against the god Arihman and Arihman seems very similiar to the First Evil.  Both don't seem to be able to directly effect this world.  Arihman was able to take possession of people, but not too often and not too long.  Both enjoyed impersonating dead people.  They seemed to thrive on mis information and illusion.  Now, it's not a perfect match as they were defeated in completely different ways.  But it was just one of those things that seemed a little to similiar.</blockquote>
