Re: Re: Standard Guns & Ammo Question... Sure does--in fact, it's featured in a whole bunch of episodes. To name a few episodes that featured it, Drusilla tortures Angel by dripping Holy water on him toward the end of season 1. IIRC, first episode that featured Spike, Angel, and Buffy all working together, had a scene where they were trapped in the Magic Shop after its owner was killed and they drove the pursuing vampires off by bombarding them with holy water from the shelves. In the episode where Buffy faced the watchers' test, she killed the final vampire by tricking it into drinking a glass of holy water. In one of the later episodes where Buffy fought an ueber vampire in a Thunderdome style duel at the construction site, she smashed a bottle of holy water into its face. The really odd thing about it is that the vampires seem to fear holy water disproportionately given its obvious physical effects. For instance, in the second example a large group of vampires fled from the holy water barrage despite the merely moderate physical damage it inflicted. (It may be that, since they seem to react to it like sunlight--a little bit of which results in small burns and smoke but just a little bit more of which kills--there is a fairly low dosage which represents a tipping point and burns them entirely away. That would at least explain why the vampires fled from the barrage despite their ability to simply outwait Buffy and allies or to rush them and emerge victorious with only (relatively) minor burns).
