Bug Report: "fractional" Views

As I was surfing the boards today, I noticed that some threads have a "Views" count expressed in fractions. By that I mean it looks like "Views: 51139/11759". I can't detect any similarities between the affected threads.

Those are front page news item threads. The first number is views overall, the second is views while it was the first item on the page (that last legacy bit from when I did one big one a day rather than several smaller ones).

Threads which are news items get a *lot* of views.
