[QUOTE="lottrbacchus, post: 3566308, member: 48191"] The party is twin Half-Celestial Fighter/Clerics and will be rgoughly 5th/5th when they meet this guy (they are both 5th/3rd now, but got enough exp to level at the start of next session, and will level again...) They, being C/G, have heard that there is a L/E Half-Fiend who essentially wants to become 'redeemed' (Book of Templates) but sure as Hell isn't going to give it all up without the forces of Good meeting him half way. This means the party is questing for a particular Good sword to offer him for his very nasty Evil sword (and the Evil sword is the best source of info on where the 3 minor artifacts are that the party needs to bring their 'aunt' back to the Prime to defeat the Evil god who wants to disjoin this particular part of the Prime because of some long lost gripe, think 1st edition Ravenloft...) Anyhow, the party has already bought into the idea that this dude can take them apart and they need to have the sword for trade. But what I NEED is the build of the dude when they go in for the 'negotiations'. They already figure (correctly) they will need to fight him, so what I need is a guy who can dish out a fair bit of damage, but is REALLY hard to kill. The guy is going to be in a building in a smallish town on the front of the fiight between the Good guys and the Bad.
