The Shattered Hand of the Earth +8 Huge Adamantine Vicious Maul of Ruin 3d8+8+2d6/20 (x3 or x5 against an outsider) This +8 huge maul ignores the hardness or damage reduction of any object it strikes. Furthermore, the weapon can deal critical hits to objects and constructs as if they were living creatures. It functions as a +10 weapon against constructs, and any critical hit dealt to a construct completely destroys it (no saving throw). The Shattered Hand of the Earth allows its wielder to fly at will (as the fly spell). The wielder also can move normally (including flying) even in the strongest winds. When the weapon is drawn, the wielder gains electricity resistance 30 and sonic resistance 30. A critical hit dealt to an outsider deals x5 damage rather than x3. Wielders with the Improved Sunder feat add a +4 bonus to the opposed roll when attempting to strike a foe's weapon. If successful, the Maul of Ruin deals 3d8+8 points of damage plus the wielder's Strength modifier to the target weapon (the target weapon's hardness need not be overcome with each hit, since the Maul of Ruin ignores hardness). Total price - 1,992,312 gp (This weapon combines properties of the Mace of Ruin, the Mace of Smiting, the Shatterspike and the Stormbrand.) Does that look even remotely right? I understand that some people believe that such a weapon should not exist, since it combines several unique weapons. I respectfully disagree with that view. I'm just asking if the math is right. I tried to separate the unique qualities of the Mace of Smiting, the Shatterspike and the Stormbrand, and doubled the price of those the same way you would with a slotless item.
