To make evil really evil... the spells/Prcs from there would seem to fit.I think it could work in most settings, depends on what you want from it and who the bad guys are. Of the top of my head, some sort of DnD-ified fantasy Arthurian setting could be fun... throw 'history' out of the window and make it really fantastical. Chivalrous knights, wicked sorcerors, twisted fey, grail questing and so on? Give the PCs their own kingdom, a round table and a wise druid - watch them go. As long as all the players get them I don't see that would upset balance between party members... I'd consider granting free book of vile darkness feats, at the same levels, to the main villans as a counter to this.</blockquote>
