Hi all, I have a question about something that happened yesterday in our gaming session. My charcter had been disarmed by a dervish wielding a kusari-gama, and since he did not want to pick the weapon and draw an AoO, he bull rushed the guy straight into the nearest wall. Said wall was 5" away, and the result of the bull rush indicated 20", so the slam was rather violent, since he would have travelled another 15" across the wall if posssible. Now, my character has improved bull rush and shock trooper, and when he bull rushes someone on a square already occupied by another character (domino effect), he gets to make a free trip attempt against both targets. Nevertheless, we were unable to find the proper way to handle the "bull rushed into a wall" situation. By the rules, there doesn't seem to be any penalty associated with being violently slammed into a solid surface. Should the victim take some "slam" damage ? And if yes, how much of it ? With or without strength bonus, depending on the number of squares bull rushed or not ? Should the victim fall prone, or at least take a free trip attempt ? Is there a way to handle this by th books ? How would you handle this ?
