Bungee jumping kobolds

I can't get this thought out of my head. Some jungle with rubbery trees and kobolds that get an effective spring attack via bungee jumping.

So I thought I would share the meme with others. Enjoy!

Not to say I thought of this first, because great minds think alike. I considered this a while ago for wood elves fighting giants in the Against the Giants campaign. To use against PCs would raise a howling cry of unfairness. The problem is, it would only work for the surprise round. Even giants can figure out how to hit elven tetherballs.

Hmm... pretty good advancement of the (Suicidal) Kobold Ninjas I used in my last campaign. They'd leap from trees and high places to attack, fairly often resulting in their own deaths.

Look, it's raining Kobolds!

Combine with leap attack.

I suppose it could also be combined with Swarm fightng, depending on the timing of the jumps.

Actually, I was thinking of running a campaign based around the idea of mutated demi-humanoids.

DCC has both "The Transmuter's Last Touch", and "When Kobolds Fly", and AEG put out a mini-module (forget the name) that deal with a tribe of Prismatic Goblins.... And Dungeon magazine had an OLD module called "Tallows Deep" about a goblin fortress that I can adapt to 3.5..

YES, the idea has merit, methinks....
