C&C : Rules changed between 1st and 2nd Printing?

Hello everyone.

From what I understand, the 2nd printing of C&C has a different layout and more equipment than the 1st Printing.

Are there any rules differences between the 1st and 2nd printing, and if yes, which ones?

Thanks!

Mm hmm. Good question. Will be interested to hear the replies as well. :D

I just picked up the 2nd edition C&C PHB maself....

No major rules changed between the two printings. There are some slight changes to the Encumbrance rules (but does anyone use them anyhow?). Beyond that, certain rules are clarified (e.g. some spell descriptions are more precise; some more examples are given for how to use the Siege sytem; etc.), and stats for poisons and horses are included (important for assassins and knights, respectively).

I think that's about it. 99.9 percent of the rules are the same between both printings, as far as I can tell.

Also, the 2nd printing is now out-of-stock. The 3rd printing has been "moved up" and is coming very soon. It has a slightly different cover (same art, but the color scheme for the border graphics is different), some 2nd print errata is incorporated, and the assassin's poison table has been changed.

The prices were deemed too high.

?

That's all?

Hmm ... is money a rare commodity in general in the game? Yeesh this sounds like a strange question ... I hope you understand what I mean.

Why should poison be more easily available?

Did trollords give more reasonsing behind this?
