D&D 4E Calculating 4e monk damage

I'm playing a monk in my 4e game, currently level 16. I've been relying on the stuff outta CB for damage, but I think it might be wrong. Of course, I might be...

I have Superior Implement Training (Accurate Dagger) with a +3 Frost Accurate Dagger. I know I get to use the +3 for the attack roll. Can I use the same +3 for the damage roll? I haven't been, since I'm not "actually" using the weapon for the attack, only using it as a focus for my mystical energy as I attack with a fist or whatnot. But since it's an implement... basically, am I screwing myself?

Your attacks all have the implement keyword, so yes, you can add the damage to your attacks.

Just as you channel the energy to improve your accuracy, that same channelled energy grants your fist greater force.

You are -actually- using the dagger to attack... just not in a stabbing-into-their-chest motion. It's a very real part of the process, you're still holding onto the dagger. Perhaps you're creating cuts in the fabric of reality with it, then using a subsequent palm strike to force that cut into their chest. (it makes sense to me, if not you)

Or maybe you are! It's up to you, you're the player.

Very good point, Draco. In that way, I very much am using the weapon in every attack.

Awesome!

Either way, the Implement keyword is what makes it happen. It doesn't matter if the fluff or whatever says it's a physical, magical, mystic, or whatever attack. So long as that word 'Implement' is in bold, and the implement you are using is one you are proficient in, you may add the enhancement bonus to attack and damage rolls.

In fact, that's ALL the Implement keyword does.
