The first fully "wet" day was 1-1-1934, which will give us something to look forward to if we make it back alive.There was a "beer bill" passed in April of 1933 which declared that 3.2% beer was not considered intoxicating, and therefore not subject to Prohibition. Pretty accurate, in my experience.There was a rash of Nessie sightings in 1933 and 1934, starting in April or so. The first and most famous photograph, the one with the head & neck sticking out of the water, was also taken in 1933.And, finally, I've found that Life magzine wasn't started until 1936, and will hereafter be referred to simply as "the magazine".
