Call of Cthulhu - What are the best current supplements/adventures.

Holy Bovine

First Post
Over at Chaoisum there is a massive amount of Call of Cthulhu product. I am thinking of starting up a CoC campaign - i have the main rule book (I actually have 4 editions of them 3rd through to 6th) and a few older adventures (Cthulhu Classics, Great Old Ones) but am itching for some new game material for this venerable system. Something to do with magic, guns, creatures and settings (I picked up a setting book of New York from Chaosium for a song and it is a damned good read) or even just a top notch adventure. Any suggestions?

Without really looking at Chaosium's offer, you couldn't get a much better campaign than Masks of Nyarlathotep. To enhance the experience, you could get their London and Egypt/Cairo books. Together you're set up for a fantastic, epic campaign with lots of free space for additional plots and threats.

Oh my yes. Masks is one of my all time favourites and they just re-released it last month. Only problem is - I've already played and as much as I would like to run it for some of my friends I really wanted something fresh and new. Thanks for the suggestion though - it was an excellent one!

It's not a Chaosium product, but if you're looking for a full-blown campaign, I've been running Nocturnum, and would recommend it. If you're interested in branching out into "Trail of Cthulhu" territory, I'm absolutely fascinated with "The Armitage Files."
