Does anyone here have actual experience with low-light equipment?
My question is if shadows (that is, contrast between adjacent light and dark areas) offers visual concealment against someone with such equipment.
The DnD example would of course be if using shadows to hide would work against a creature with low-light vision, and by extension one with darkvision.
I know that various editions have had rules on this situation, but that's not my question; I am asking if someone has actual RL experience of this?
