There are a lot of really great gamers around these boards,

oh well that leaves me out... carry on!

I have trouble picking just one... but I would (and did) go with interactivity... nothing like setting people's stuff on fire and then running into someone years later who's stuff you did set on fire in another part of the country.

I voted for hanging out with friends cuz that' what makes the game enjoyable. If you had to play by yourself or with people you didn't like then it would suck.

Now with that said when I'm actually playing it's all about the story. I love a great story.

I get the most enjoyment out a game where the PCs are interesting to interact with and where the DM takes the time to prepare a proper challenge and to interweave the PCs in the story.

The thing that makes a game fun though are the people with whom you are playing.
