Morningstar is not a medieval setting; instead it's set during the golden age of a more standard world. Basically, I asked, "What might have happened if a standard game world had never fallen into the dark ages, and went from the ancient world straight through to the renaissance?"  The book is full of plot ideas, from the specific area descriptions, to the chapter on "The Canticle"- a dark prophesy that can be used as the framework for many campaigns, not just one. One neat thing about the Canticle is that it's alive.. and when the characters start to thwart it, it will notice... I'm also writing numerous adventures for use with the setting.
