[QUOTE="smilinggm, post: 1944642, member: 2394"] Here is one more 3rd Party Campaing setting that has not been mentioned yet: Arcanis the World of Shattered Empires by Paradigm Concepts Arcanis is a world of high fantasy, intrigue, and suspense. Diplomancy skill and discretion can carry you as far as you skill of arms. In Arcanis you can play a descendent of Angles or a decsendent of Devels. In Arcanis you can play a cold blooded Lizard man called a Ssressen. Dwarves and Elves have there own unique twist. The Dwarves are the descendents of cursed Celestial Giants who are looking for a way to lift the curse. The Elves or as they prefer to call themselvs Elorii are the now freed slaves of the Serpent Empire. One of the Biggest Differences in Arcanis from other Campaing settings is that the gods do not have alignments, only worshipers do! This makes Arcanis a very grey world. There are no absolutes. You can encounter a good cleric of the god of death and disease that will heal the sick, then in your next encounter you must defeat a evil priest of the god of pleasure. There are 16 new base classes and 40 prestige classed and 10 monk orders that you can choose from; including Palidin variants to reflect that the gods do not have alignments. Another Big twist in Arcanis is that If you happen to die in Arcanis you have only 24 hours to get raised. Past that point your soul or spirit has traveled beyond the reach of mortal magic. And if your body is not given a proper burial it is likely that your body or your intelect will arrise as one of the walking dead. Arcanis is a world of mid to high magic. There are gunpowder rules, but magic and steel still save the day. In Arcanis everyone is from somewhere; you can Be a Legionair from the mighty Coryani Empire. You can be a noble Knight from the Noble Nation of Milandir. You can be a Skirvy Dog from the Pirate Isles. There are 6 other major nations that you can chose from and a multitude of regions.
