Many generations ago Raugnar-Thaun made their prescence know to the lands. They arrived from the East Astride Quick Warhorses, larger than even our Paladin's mounts. The Raugnar -Thaun Stood as giants among men, fully a man and a half in height with a terrible visage of shaggy manes, beetled brows and fang filled maws. The riders of the Raugnar-Thaun struck like lightning, ravaging everything in their path, laying siege to impregnable Fortresses, and all seemingly for the sake of destruction and food. It would have been bad enough if they raped the silos and herds of the Fair people of our lands but The Riders from the East were not so much interested in our foodstuffs but rather our own citizens as food. The Raugnar-Thaun were cannibals, featsing upon the flesh of the fallen, making delicacies of our viscera. the Fathers, knowing that the scourge would inevitabley journey to our fair City they took the people to the Mountains of Lod, under the Guidance of Dolsaris, the Golden where the people laboured to crate a home , hidden away in the mounain's heart, away from the pillaging riders of the Raugnar Thaun. Here we have dwelt for centuries, making allies of the cavern folk, growing strong under the tutelage of our great masters. Soon we will Open the Grand Door and reclaim the land from the Raugnar-Thaun and take our place as the just and rightful rulers of our once proud and beautiful land. I am developing a low magic campaign loosely based upon Mad Max/ The omega man (I Am Legend) and The Lost Regiment series by William R. Forstchen. This is the story so far....and i am looking for input....just a brainstorm of ideas i am posting for Rules help in the "house Rules Forum
