Hrm... To supplement the FR ( Dalelands/Sembia) and the FR ( Underdark) campaigns I'm running... Both of those have some serious comedic elements which have me itching for some grit. 1) Fallen in love with the idea of of pirates of the sand dunes on high masted magic ships. Swashbuckling, flavourful cultures, eeevvvviiillll baddies and all that jazz. Go for a high fantasy feel a la Final Fantasy 3 (6?). 2) Being a pervy drow fancier I'll probly work on writing a comedic Underdark adventure. Comedy of errors with the deadly taste of poison, stubbing toes as you slink in the dark towards the next hit. Have the perfect group for this idea. Bwaha! 3) Six years later still working on my homebrew setting. Converting it to d20 for simplicity's sake. There are no arcane casters. All magic is under direct control of the eight gods. These gods control everything strictly. Gaining their favour, ire and occasionally seeking to fly under their radar are great objectives. Three humans races ( civilized, plainsmen, seamen), three elder races, close to the fey in Exhalted ( the godsfolk, the warriorfolk and the seafolk) and then the folk that don't have anyplace ( the spirit folk: close as elves get on the homebrew)( the rat people: chosen race of one of the gods)( the desert people: another semi-fey race, hardy desert people). Arcane casters are introduced with one off kilter figure in the timeline. It'll be a hell raising campaign with the clergy of all eight gods either seeking to destroy, harness or help the little sorceress.
