After thinking over the options Dextyr moves over to where Tristan and Mikira are discussing tactics and beckons Blade and Tonk to come over. "Well then I suggest that we quickly rest up and tend to our wounds and prepare for the reinforcements that are coming." "So what do you prefer to do, Prepare an ambush of our own or should we avoid the others and search out the young Applethorpe and bring the fight to him"? Dextyr asks the others in a lowered voice so their prisoner would not hear. "And what do we do about him?" Dextyr motions over to the suspended halfling? "If we plan to set an ambush we could use him as bait, but if we go off after Applethorpe then he is a liability if left alive. I do not particularly like the little rock chucker, but as a hired thug is he not in the same class us us? Did we just not slaughter a defenseless group of old men because someone paid us to do so? Dextyr finishes his speech looking to he others for an answer to him moral dilemma, hoping perhaps that they will have the solution. [sblock=OOC] Basically Dextyr would rather not make the call on killing the halfling - but if someone less 'good' were to take justice into their own hands..... Also what is the plan - set an ambush or go after Applethorpe? If we set an ambush then we have the advantage of setting the battlefeild to our liking, but we have no idea how many reinforcement we will face. If we go after Applethorpe we may be able to avoid a big fight. Remember, we do have very limited resources (healing surges). [/sblock]
