Glyfair said:As a slightly more involved explanation: The Quori spirit the Kalashtar is tied to has a "sex." Any children of that sex from one of the above unions will be Kalshtar. Any children not of that sex will have the other parents race.
And, according to Races of Eberron, the children of different sexes are brought up separately. Essentially, the "family unit" of the kalashtar is based on the quori spirit, not on the male/female coupling. A male kalashtar would feel closer to a male second-cousin of the same quori line than his biological sister.Corsair said:On the same note, when two kalashtar have children, the sons share the Quori spirit of the father, and the daughters that of the mother.
They aren't sexually compatible, since there's no reference to them being so.frankthedm said:What about kalashtar / orc crossbreeds?
