As soon as an illusion produces incontrovertible proof that it is fake, it is automatically disbelieved. So the second a fire would normally cause damage but it does not, it is clear that it is an illusion.

Nah, considering what I've read in the will save for on fire thread, I'd say that adrenaline would give them a few rounds:) Anyway, does anyone else think that fire is really weak? Hell, it should add a d6 every round, THAT would get things smoking:)

Btw, Ki, my girlfriends from Louisville. That means we're practically related!!!:D

That's what I would do if someone was say, being chased by a Yeti, and intentionally let themselves burn so they would take less damage than if the yeti attacked them :D

Actually back in second edition that way my house rule 1d6 points of damage on round one, 2d6 on round 2, 3d6 on round 3, etc (to simulate the spreading fire)

Yeah, by the rules as soon as you realize you're not taking fire damage you should automatically disbelieve the illusion. I guess I have a fear of being on fire because I think that if I thought I was on fire it might be a couple of rounds before the panic subsided enough to realize I wasn't burning :)
