But, just because they cannot see you (because of cover) does not mean they are unaware of your position. So the hiding in plain sight does not work. However sneaking around the edge of the cave while they are distracted allows you take a hide check at -5, if you just saunter around the cave without trying to hide they are aware of you doing this, they are plainly watching you do this. You then sqeeze your eyes together and drop a small pebble, believing you are hiding does not make them any less aware of your presence. Or just walking behind a stalagmite, still wont do it: "We know your there, come out little man".However walking to the stalagmite and then using a move (or crawl) at -5 to sneak in the shadows further around the cave would work, as they still think you are behind the stalagmite.***dont have my PHB with me in work today, so these are just common sense and from memory.***</blockquote>
