For example, if you were picking a lock and on the other side of the locked door was an enemy observing you through bars in the door (but unable to harm you in any way), you could take a 10.I think that in this situation, no one is threatening or distracting you from hiding. Them looking for you is clearly not threatening, and the reason why it's not distracting is because them searching for you is exactly what you're hiding from. It's part of what you are doing.Anyway, that's how I see it now.</blockquote>
