Canadian border troubles?

I went to the FLGS again hoping a particular book had come in, and the store clerk gave me a story about how the war had really slowed down products coming across the border.

I was just wondering if any other Canadian gaming stores were having such troubles (although the problem is presumably at the distributor level), or if any publishers have experienced this recently - or if the clerk was just telling tales?

I work at Federal Mogul Skokie. We make gaskets. It now takes an extra 2 days for security reasons for electronic transmissions and other permissions on our side to get North.

Great.

If you think that's bad, I'm a knife collector living in Toronto who just ordered a Khukri from an American distributor. I wonder how incredibly long-bladed knife shall be held up? :(

Consider it your punishment for teasing us and making us wait so long for Spiros Blaak. ;)
