Generally his skill with a blade kept him out of trouble, that his tongue got him into. He spent some time as a soldier for hire guarding caravans as he traveled from place to place, occasionally entertaining some with his meager skill with his mandolin.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"></span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'">Recent History:</span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"></span> <span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"> Since leaving Damascus, Borric has been trailing along in this caravan battling a bout of dysentery. Must have been something he ate or drank. He has been charming the pants off a young woman who has been caring for him during this illness, with promises of tender loving care once he is better. Though weak and not feeling well he has been known to strum a little tune during the evening meals when the caravan has stopped for the night, at least earning a little of his keep. </span></p><p> <span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"> He even heard about the encounter with the devil’s cow and wrote a little song about it. Unfortunately the lyrics were such that one of the elder women thought he wrote it about her and she complained to the caravan leader Alfred Fayweather. It’s good thing Borric was able to hook him up with a good price at the popular brothel back in Damascus.</span></p><p> <span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"> During the baker’s mad attack on the caravan with his assistant’s, Borric was unfortunately having another digestive episode and missed the whole thing while spending some time in the bushes, seeing a man about a horse, so to speak.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"></span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"></span></p></blockquote><p></p>
