Capital Ships for Star Wars Campaign

Dannath

First Post
I have recently started a new star wars campaign for my friends, and I cannot find any of the bigger capital ships to use. Lots of character minis and small fighters and transports, but nothing of size and substance. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions to this problem? We won't be to the point of needing these ships for a while, but I'd still like to start early so I have lots of options. Thanks...

Do you mean miniatures? If so, the best thing to use are the old Micro Machines line of toys if you happen to have any. They can be found on Ebay still, but I honestly don't know what price they go for and they sure aren't to scale.

Best bet is to design your own counters out of cardstock or something similar.

Oh, and welcome to the boards.

What scale are you working with? Capitol ships are fricking huge on a battlemat. You may as well print an image to scale and lay it down.

what are you using as minis for X-wings, and TIE fighters and the like? I can't find any good minis for ships.
I use the old Micro Machines line from the mid 90s, though it really only works for starfighters, as that's about all that's in scale with each other.

Dannath are you looking for miniatures or stats for these ships? If its stats I can easily reccomend Starships of the Galaxy. It has what you need to know about for 17 capital ships. Some examples are the Defender Star Destroyer, Imperial II Star Destroyer, Imperial Star Galleon, Mon Clamari MC90 Star Cruiser and the Victory Star Destroyer.
