The salesperson indicated this model was only one tier below the top model. The controls were nice and easy to use (the Pioneer model, in contrast, had small buttons). I don't know anything about Alpine, so I left empty-handed.So, what do I need to know about car audio? What brands have you had success with? I have a 2004 Chevy Cavalier with a stock CD player ("double-din" style as Crutchfield.com points out). Crutchfield asked whether I have RDS, I am unsure.</blockquote>
