Castelleon

Thanks for the info, Chris!

Seems to me that strategically, we should let the Mottul army and FFM leave the Lyko area then try to retake Lyko. If we can turn on portals again, we should be able to defend Lyko from being retaken and it makes the kingdom far stronger to regain its center.

In preparation for that, it seems like we should scout Lyko and see what lies in these clouds. We should do it without the castle (maybe that should stay with Fina?).

I think Fina should try to help settle the succession so that Eidos can meet this threat united but I'm not sure what we can do on that score. I think we should focus on scouting Lyko.

It would be nice if we could portal into Lyko but we should be able to approach by flying. Maybe just take those with mounts and wings. May need to acquire a few mounts.

Thoughts?

If agree that if Lyko is going to be relatively unguarded we should definitely scout it and see if we can retake it.

Sounds like a plan to me! :D

Sounds like a good plan to me ... and with 3 pathfinders in the group, we'll have at least a decent shot of doing something w/ the portals should we be able to get to them.

If we want the option of trying to take it, then we should make sure that Fina has a force ready to send through portals to us. I think the only way to take it would be if we found the defenses light and we found a working portal we could connect somehow to Fina's troops. It would be good to be prepared for that but the mission would be successful just if we scouted and figured out what was going on there.

So right now the plan is to scout and possibly take a portal with the purpose of allowing Fina's troops to come through and take bake part if not all of Loko when the main Mottul force is away.

One thing to work on before the game is who will be going to scout. The heavy fighters are not easilly transported.

Also remember that the area around Lyko is engulfed in dense black clouds with high wind gusts. There are also random lightning storms that rage through the cloud mass.
