Greetings. I'm not exactly sure if this thread is stupposed to be here or not. If not, please tell me where I should go and will be more than happy to relocate...
Our DM was gracious enough to provide the group with a castle! Woo! However, we have to furnish it (eq it if you will), hire our guards/servants, defend, etc. My guess, is eventually we'll be starting our own village (setting up smith shops, trade posts, etc), but that is a way to go. Each member got it's own "area" in the castle to decorate (apt in a complex so to speak). My problem is, I'm not quite sure where to look for just general decorations. If there is such a list (like the General EQ list in PHB except for even more miscellanious items [beds, curtains, what have you]) I would appreciate information to obtain it. Also, if anyone has suggestions for decorations/traps/etc I'd love it. Me and one of the other guys are competing for best "apt"... My char is a Human Paladin so unfortunately can't have the nice blood stains, etc. hehehe.

In 1e a djinn could create things of wood or soft materials that were permanent. It's a goofbal way to do it but how annoyed can the djinn get since it isn't only being called into a fight?
