I read several comments about Seige in other threads on this forum and I wanted to look at the numbers. I made tables. I'm operating under the 8th printing of the PH, which states that the level of the character is added to 'almost every roll'.
1) I'm adding a +1 cumulative bonus at every odd level as it scales better if you want to play up to level 20.
2) I'm assuming players will put positive scores in Primary while putting 0s and negative scores in Non-primary.
3) I also made tables for non-primary at 16 and 15.
Highlighted level 11 with a box for those who want to stop at level 12, before high-level play. My preference would be 12 Primary, 15 Non-Primary and stop at level 12.
How gritty do you like your Non-primary rolls?
