Castles, Followers and Reputation/Fame/Infamy

Hi there! I'm looking for d20 rules that cover building castles, adquiring followers and ganing reputation, fame or infamy.

As for follower rules, I'd like something more close to 1E, where you atracted many many very low-levels (0-levels in that time), and you didn't need a feat for that. Just a certain PC level and building some sort of stronghold or keep (evil PCs usually builded or claimed conquered dungeons IMCs )

I already looked at...

Published d20 Products:
WotC - Stronghold Builder's Guidebook
AEG-EMPIRE
Fields of Blood
Cry Havoc (no rules for this really, just mass combat)
DM II for rules to run a Buisness.

Fan d20:
Soulmage's Reputation Rules for Iron Heroes
Melans long term encounters at Necromancer Games fan uploads(very useful for this kind of campaign.

Old Products:
1E Player's Handbook
1E DM's Guide
OD&D White Boxed Set
Master and Companion Rule Books for D&D.

Ok, so, anything you know about, rules-wise, not history books and such. Either d20 or not. For Castles (or buildings in general), followers and hirelings and reputation/fame/infamy, please post here.

Thanks a lot...

I can't help with supplementary books.

But to keep it simple, I'd consider starting from the rules for followers as per the DMG leadership feat, WHITHOUT the need to take the feat (which is anyway usually taken for its more immediate benefit -> the cohort).
Those rules tell you how many and what level of followers a character can get, but you may want to modify the numbers if they give you followers in too low amount and too high level.

UA has a reputation system:

For building castles, I've never seen a source that was interesting enough, as they are usually most concerned with the costs for building rather than how to use a castle once it's built.
